comparing and contrasting osama esiD and Annie leibovitZ As a child Annie leibovitz lived on the road with her family. She became used to the look of a picture through the car window. Annie live in a family that accepted art and embraced the thought of it. Her mother who was a dancer and her father who was in the military supported her art. Her early life affected her and her work. Osama has a very positive outlook on life. He has always been interested in photography and the way a photo gets put together. Osama is very passionate in showing the work he has done and the way he sees the world.
Annie Leibovitz has photographs published on very famous magazines. Such as Rolling Stones, vanity fair and many more. She has some of her pictures with people hardly being covered at all and some where they are covered from head to toe. Osama takes pictures in places where they mean something to him. Such as the pictures of the kids in school in Syria. He took these pictures and gave them to the children to remember for the rest of their life’s. Both Annie and Osama both are in careers where they love their work. Yet they both choose to use their skills in different ways. Like Annie takes pictures for magazines and other social media influenced things and Osama does things that he has passion for. Annie carries around tons of equipment and cameras. She often is in a studio to take her pictures or it is set in a personal space. Annie uses all these cameras to get all different types of the same picture. To make sure the best one was taken. While Osama carries around a huge camera. He used the big camera as a conversation starter, but also to take amazing pictures of people and objects. He likes this camera and his equipment because he can take the pictures and print them right away. No matter where he is. He tends to travel all over to get his pictures taken.
